Are the Democrats REALLY trying to help the ��poor people?

f the Democrats are trying to help the poor, they are doing a good job of impoverishing everyone other than the top two percent of earners. The poverty rate was dropping until Jonson's Great Society programs included welfare to able bodied people. By 1970, the poverty rate has grown and now under Obama, it's even worse.

The Democrats want to get that 1% on bank transactions. It happens in other countries. There was legislation in the Stimulus Law that allows government access to our accounts now with no cause, no warrant for this purpose of taxation.

The Democrats have made government benefits broader and like fly paper-not the social security retirement program, but other unearned programs that are not for the disabled-so people are stuck.
It too costly for the workers to carry able bodied people who should be productive and it causes social problems.
