Obama To Americans: You Don't Deserve To Be Free President Obama's Kansas speech is a remarkable document. In calling for more government controls, more taxation, more collectivism, he has two paragraphs that give the show away. Take a look at them. ...there is a certain crowd in Washington who, for the last few decades, have said, let's respond to this economic challenge with the same old tune. "The market will take care of everything," they tell us. If we just cut more regulations and cut more taxes "especially for the wealthy" our economy will grow stronger. Sure, they say, there will be winners and losers. But if the winners do really well, then jobs and prosperity will eventually trickle down to everybody else. And, they argue, even if prosperity doesn't trickle down, well, that's the price of liberty. Now, it's a simple theory. And we have to admit, it's one that speaks to our rugged individualism and our healthy skepticism of too much government. That's in America's DNA. And that theory fits well on a bumper sticker. (Laughter.) But here's the problem: It doesn't work. It has never worked. (Applause.) It didn't work when it was tried in the decade before the Great Depression. It's not what led to the incredible postwar booms of the 50s and 60s. And it didn't work when we tried it during the last decade. (Applause.) I mean, understand, it's not as if we haven't tried this theory. <continue> http://www.forbes.com/sites/harrybinswanger/2013/12/31/obama-to-americans-you-dont-deserve-to-be-free/ |

I think the card he is actually playing is simple class warfare. For him it has worked well. Put as many people as possible on the government teat and keep them there with never ending promises of "more to come". Pay the price on the backs of wealthy and working class citizens with the major cost going to the children down the road who can't vote yet.
Socialism is socialism no matter how you dress it up. We broke the back of the USSR by forcing them (in their minds anyway) to keep up with our military spending. The cost caused bankruptcy of their nation. The cost of Obama's spending programs is causing us to approach the same cliff. It makes you wonder what they expect to do when we go over the cliff, as we surely will at this rate. Perhaps they want to create an new socialist nation without the constrains of the Constitution? |

Perhaps they want to create an new socialist nation without the constrains of the Constitution? The TPP and UN Small Arms Treaty will put the final nail in his coffin (an ours) if passed! The sad part is (as much as I hate the thought of it), when we the people finally wake up the solution is not going to be an easy one........ |

Ever notice how Obama's speak is more sounding a socialist than before?
He is speaking to the entitlement culture that elected him. I wonder what lies he will tell the Illegals here. Anything thing to further socialism. |
