You don't say very much on your profile. What things interest you? What are your hobbies? What do you do in your spare time? How about more pics of yourself doing the things you like? Elaborate more on your profile write up. JMO

First off I would say Thank You for your service to country and glad you are home safe and sound.

Since your military career is in your rear view mirror and you are a (capitalize) Wichita State student I think I would reflect that in my screen name than you are and veteran. I am from Kansas and I know once you are away from the military areas you want to blend into the local population and local groups. Military service there is still revered but past thanks ok what else you have to offer it isn't going to break a lot of ice.

I would suggest getting involved in Jaycee's, Habitat for Humanity, Parks and Recreation sports, and several on campus things like theater or or church activities. You are in the Midwestern bible belt.

The interest you listed are fine if you want to hang out with the boys/menfolk but the percentage of young ladies that are going to relate to either especially for initial dates is going to be limited. Twenty something women want to dance, develope careers, and get their first places independently. If you live in a development with any amenities I would play that up. Unless you say otherwise people are going to think you are living with Mom and Dad hanging out at the PTSD support group or kicking back free beer at the VFW. You and I both know that is a stereo type but it is something you want to by being up beat and active with mainstream people downplay.

The suggestions that you should tell your story in pictures is a good one. Get some concert Tshirts, take a photo in your scrubs, and maybe at your computer. For crimeny sakes get something a little more upbeat for a shirt than a faded Army undershirt in a barracks/motel that looks like you cropped your ex out of for a lead shot. It is after Christmas but even a selfie with some Christmas New Years props is better than this. If you want to zoom in and use it for a head and shoulders fine but if you are not smiling you are dying on the internet.

I don't know how most >24 year olds are but a guy that is a student who is starting at the gate saying he wants to start a family would send me running for cover if I didn't already have a kid.

If you have transportation you want to show you did not loose it in the divorce.

I will look for you in the forums and if I can find out where some of my old running buddies are playing in some of the clubs I will shoot you a name and a place. Couple are in fairly noteworthy bands.
