I'm a writer. They're used as a supplement for the internet, for reference. The articles I write have to have hard-copy research as well as internet.
Yeah, I've heard of libraries (an old comment, heard it a dozen times) but I'm also a night-owl. I'd rather have my references in my basement than have to get into a car, drive downtown, and check out something I have to drive back downtown to return. |

I have bookcases and still stacks of books to trip over all over the house. Reading sounds like a better idea than working. Going to go finish my book. |

I have two regular columns going. One is a book review that runs around the country and in Canada. The other is a trivia column. That's where the reference books come into play.

All my books are in boxes, stacked and covered so they look like a dresser or covered table. Have nowhere to put them since I live in a cottage house. My mom wanted me to ditch them but refused! Shame on her!

I'm in three anthologies. My trivia column will eventually be a book. It's the slowest way I know of to write a book, but it also doesn't cut into my time for other stuff.....

Creations, think outside the box (pun intended). Use your books as decorating accessories. You can display them, hence, get them out of those boxes!
