STRANGER's poem

A stranger at first
Like a heist that captured my attention
Not knowing what his real intention
Could it be friendship or a romantic connection?

Each conversation shared
Is like a connection long before occurred
Interesting in every way
That always completes my day

The feeling of uncertainty
Is giving my emotions inconsistency
Should I let it develop?
Or ignore it with no hope?

The fear of getting hurt again
Is what I’ve been trying to evade
But it would be unfair to have it ruled on head
That’s why Taking chances is what I’ve decided

Anticipating of knowing you more
For whatever odds I’ll open my door
I want to believe there’s something in store for US
So ill take my time and discover all of those

Patience is what I’m asking
And I thank you for understanding
Sooner or later ill be able to give you the answer
You’ve been waiting to hear
