I find it very discouraging that I just made this account and in about 10 min I've heard ten people say they can't meet someone from here.

Where did you hear that? I think it's the case with anything - you get what you put in. A lot of the people who say they can't meet anyone, rarely make the effort to actually get involved. Or they don't take the advice of their peers when it's given.

I've only been on here a few days and I can see that there are plenty of opportunities to meet up with people, it's just whether those people are who I want to meet up with or we're meeting up on the same wavelength. At present though, I'm still so new that I'm not planning on rushing into that. Just spending time getting to know people.

Yes, I've met women through this site. It's just a matter of finding somebody that you click with.

You have to bear in mind though that a lot of the people on here aren't even on here for dating. Also, the women on dating sites tend to be rather paranoid and even if you're getting on well with them they might still suspect that you're an axe murderer. It works both ways. It's just that I'm not afraid of women and if they do turn out to be lunatics or liars when I meet them I'm prepared for that.

very nice website actually and you can find plenty of nice guys and ladies to meet , though you have to take into consideration the distance issue that prevents someone like me for example from meeting those nice people in person .

Absolutely you can meet people on this site.

And you can use this site to give people you meet a way to find you with out giving your personal address, business address, or having someone drive you nuts blowing up your phone if all they are hoping to do is sell you something you don't want.

I would say fully 80% of the people I have dated over the last decade are people who saw my profile or who referenced my profile and posts as a way to get to know what I think and who I really am.

Just because I don't blab my personal life on here does not mean I don't have one. lol


Competition for eligible professional people to date is fierce and dating is time limited and expensive so why date people you have nothing in common with?

A few instant messages here you can learn if your basic preferences are met and decide if you want to move to the next level or pass which I think is WAAAAAY better than having friends, family, or professional friends in your private business.

All of the time. Last time I met a guy from here was last summer. If you have enough patience and are willing to make it work, it will. I may meet more from here in the future. Just give it more time.

I think that there are too many scorned and attention seeking people ob this site ; everyone should just be honest and stop stroking their egos. Yeah i said it then there will be more success thread.
