Lionel Messi. The best player in the World, by far and I was lucky enough to see Diego Maradona, at his best and he was something, but Messi, is on a different Planet to any other footballer. Simple as!

With Messi being injured and probably not going to win the award this year. Everyone will expect Cristiano Ronaldo to romp it? What about Luis Suarez though? Week after week i've watched that guy turn it on for Liverpool, in the Premiership. The guy is class and watch him for Uruguay, in the World Cup next year? It's gonna be a cracker!

I'm Scottish and support Celtic, but I watch both Premiership and La Liga games on Sky sports. Messi, when he's fit and playing is untouchable! Ronaldo, is a good player, yes, but he can be too greedy and a glory hunter at times and thats his drawback! Suarez, is a team player and is a quality striker! He's improving his game also on almost a weekly basis. Watch videos of him on Youtube and tell me i'm wrong?

Believe me dude,I watch the EPL every weekend and suarez sure is a good player but counting him as one who has a chance at the best player award???....no way, he is no where near
