does anyone else get as mad as I do when hollywood takes a beautiful vintage four wheeled machine and utterly destroy it? Seriously I havn't been to a theatre in 11 years because of this.

I don't get mad. Just ask why? Then hope since we're in the age of such CGI, that they did the crash of the car with CGI instead of totaling a beautiful work of a car.

No, because they destroy a replica that they made of the car, it's not like Hollywood films are super low budget like the original Gone In 60 Seconds and they can't afford to make several versions of the same car, which has been the case for years.
