Age limitations...I'm kind of expecting the under 18 year olds to weed themselves out due to curfews and bedtime stories. I opened up the age range because I was meeting a lot of cool new friends on here who couldn't email me.

Bay -- You're right about the forums, and I think it just SAYS more about a person when they do post. It's more responsive, interactive, more "real-time" (not exactly, but close enough) than a static profile. I think of the profile as a sort of "ID Card" and everything else more as a part of the real person behind the card.

The pic thing is a bit of a crapshoot. There are those who think you get more attention that way, BUT part of that is often the "wrong kind" of attention.

But if you read the posts about profiles, the pic issue comes up more than any other topic. Not saying that's good or bad, right or wrong, but there is an innate desire, on the part of many, to see who they're dealing with. And you do have a pic, so it's not like we're talking Blue Box Mystery Girl here.

Just so you know that people WILL keep asking for more....!

I understand about the age limit thing, too -- if you make the numbers too restrictive, you may lose out on hearing from someone who might be fun to talk to....I never put any limits on mine, but, since nobody closer than 897,000 miles ever e-mails me, it's not like I have too much to be afraid of locally! Even the stalkers are too far away to do much in the way of effective stalking!
