I thought Urban Legends had to be "real people"..?) An Urban Legend is any story that's thought to be true, and passed on. It could be anything from rumors about celebs, to myths like Bigfoot, or stories like the lady with the poodle. Fine.. But for it to be a "legend", you need more than a small handful of people to believe it.. |

John Wayne's real first name was "Marion".. 5. The Legend of Bloody Mary 6. Jerry Mathers was killed in Vietnam. <-(False, Topher.. I've seen him interviewed many times, since Vietnam ended. That's why it's an Urban Legend) 7. Woman dries her wet poodle in the microwave. 8. Elvis Presley was part Apache. 9. Slender Man <--(I thought Urban Legends had to be "real people"..?) 10. Breaking a mirror causes seven years bad luck. 11. Catherine the Great died in a tryst with a horse. 12. Christopher Columbus discovered America...
