WASHINGTON – South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham reiterated his pledge to block all of Obama’s nominees for executive branch positions until Congress is allowed to hear testimony from those on the ground during the Benghazi terrorist attacks in 2012.




“I shouldn’t have to do this – to make these threats,” he said on “Fox News Sunday.”

Graham says there are still too many unanswered questions about the Sept. 11 attack in Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

While there have been a number of Capitol Hill hearings on the deadly attack in Benghazi, Graham is among a group of lawmakers who say they aren’t satisfied with the information provided and want more.

“I don’t think it’s over the top to find out what happened to four dead Americans,” he said. “I don't think it’s over the top to talk to survivors. The State Department interviewed these survivors.”

Along with Ambassador Stevens, Foreign Service officer Sean Smith and former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were killed in the attack.

Graham has been asking for the FBI’s transcripts of interviews with State Department and CIA survivors who were evacuated to Germany after the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate.

In an Oct. 28 letter Graham, the State Department’s Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, Julia Frifield, referred to "significant risks" and "serious concerns about having the survivors of the attack submit to additional interviews."

Graham and other Republicans believe the transcripts will show the survivors told the FBI it was a terrorist attack and made no mention of a video or anti-U.S. demonstration at the consulate.

“So I’m going to block every appointment in the United States Senate until the survivors are being made available to Congress,” he said.

Graham also called on fellow lawmakers in Washington for help.

“The only way this will work is if my GOP colleagues get behind me and Democrats too and support my request to find out exactly what happened,” he said.

Finally something I can agree with Senator Graham on and he is finally not being a RINO!

The serious concerns are to cover Obama, Biden and Clinton's a$$ and protect Democrats as much as possible in 2014 and 2016 when they are doomed. The significant risks mentioned are jail time for Obama and to Administration officials.

If he has nothing to hide then prove it and make them eat their words. The only reason Obama constantly tries to hide things including spending over $1.4 Million to keep his records sealed is because he knows he will be doomed and has something to hide, otherwise he would show the critics the proof and make them eat crow.

So much for the promise of the most transparent Government, White House and Presidential Administration in our nations history. More change we cant believe in!

Graham is a joke, always has been. Lately he has been outted over his voting record to the point of maybe suffering a recall in his state. In 2014 two challengers for his Senate seat have arisen with much support from the voters.....he's running scared!

Trust me! It's not about anything but worrying for his pampered position (job.... which he doesn't do), and even with $6Million already in his re-election coffers from special interest groups, his poll ratings are falling miserably....as are his mentors....McShame!

Graham is doing the right thing. I saw his interview. If Bush had done what Obama has done regarding preventing eyewitnesses from testifying to Congress over 9/11, Bush would have been skinned alive. But the press always leans over backwards to protect Obama.

I find it funny thet according to the federal government and the SCOTUS, the federal government has supreme power until it asks a government agency for transcripts, interviews, emails etc. Why doesn't he and others use force to retrieve the information they're asking for? Because they really don't care, it's all a dog and pony show.

I did like Graham when he first got elected but then he just went to $hit shortly after.

He wont get recalled, you cant recall a Federally elected Senator or Congressman the only way to remove them from office is by the Senate or Congress voting them out. Luckily he is up for re-election in 2014, I don't know what his polling numbers are in his State or if they have a serious candidate that can actually win against him, he does have a big war chest from all the special interests he has helped out over the years.........

There is only one reason Obama and his Administration doesn't want this to happen...........
