When your parents met in a bar, and have been together for 25 years (or
26? i forgot) it's hard to say **** NO! Because you never know when you
will meet that one. Then again, I don't have female friends to go bar
hopping with, and the guys around my area seem too, I'll be polite and
say shy, shy to walk up to me if and when I am in a bar. I have had a
one night stand, and it blew. Could have been the fact that a mouse was
better hung than him (almost literally) could have been the fact that he
had no stamina, or the fact that I found out later that he was a
scuzzbag and a rapist (think toys for those who noticed the earlier size
comment). But then again, I have had two **** buddies, and they were
fun and, hmmm, enlightening. I may or may not again, but just remember
to protect yourselves and its all cool as far as I am concerned.

You never know what's going to happen. One night could lead to more, to a lifetime as some here tell. Alot of it is what you hope to get out of it - are you a pessimist and are happy with that one shag, or an optimist and and hope it's the beginning of a be-yoo-tee-ful relationship? Does it matter? At least you're trying.

F***buddies - yeah, tough call here. Living here alone, thousands of miles from home, can make for depressing holidays and lonely weekends. I'm guilty - I once had a friend and, when times got tough, we relied on each other for comfort and love. I don't know -- history tells me it's neigh impossible to be intimate and expect to remain just friends, so you'd better prepare one day for her to look at you square in the eyes and ask where it's all going.

And then you've got a choice to make.

I'd rather have a real relationship, but hey, a one night stand is still better than nothing at all. I had one about 17 years ago and it ended up lasting 1 1/2 years, so, ya never know.

As a person who knows what they instinctively like I still don't buy the notion that you can know someone well enough to have really great sex with then in a one night stand situation.

1 night stand?i don't think i could stand for a full night,not without breaks every few hours or so and alot of energy drinks
