Yes it was a democratic administration...the Ironic thing for me is it is of my opinion that JFK was the last great Democratic President we had. He was tough on the communist threat of the time, he built up the military and was instramental to starting special Ops forces trained in unconventional warfare, it was JFK that actually made the green beret(cap) an official trade mark of the special forces, he also realized less taxes were good for the economy and the people of America.
