Okay, I'm a strange person. I don't miss having someone in my bed (at least to sleep). Don't have to share the covers or the remote control and can stay up late reading.

Also, it seems that my little person is crawling into bed with me more often lately. Probably the newness of being back in school.

Littlepreggers, get your rest now. I can't imagine having a 2nd child, much less a 3rd like you are getting ready to do.

I still remember the crazy lack of sleep when they are about 2 weeks old. I was such a zombie.

Time to go back to bed or clean the kitchen. I vote for bed.

Hugs, M

Michele...you are not the strange one here at all...I love my bed!!! It's an island...the nerve certre of the house!

And sharing it with anyone else is going to be a challenge, I don't want to think about... my bed is invasion city...it's usually got kids sprawled across it, toys, homework, it's the place where teenage broken hearts were soothed, little people's nightmares, and when it's cold and storming, safe haven.

Lil preggers, your feelings are very real, but also boosted with living back at home, having your little one with you, but way over there on the other side of the room, and also a gazillion hormones running through you, making everything seem more.

Missing your partner, missing that closeness, shows your heart, and your beautiful humanity...and that's special.flowerforyou

Ahh, Jess, thank you. Good to know that I'm not alone.

Does anyone remember when you were little and climbing into bed with your parents (bad dream, sick, scared)? I have such happy fuzzy memories of climbing into bed with my Mom. I'm now 38 and when she knows something is wrong she tells me to come over and stay by her. What a sweet Mommy I have!

I have a king size pillow top bed that I bought for myself, and I sleep diagonal in it LOL, spread out all over. I read, study, and watch t.v.there, its awesome and the one place i can call mine all mine. And honestly I wouldn't mind a temporary invasion, but a permanent one? Not now anyway
