It does take time to be anywhere near ready to forgive there is one person in my life I will never ever forgive that does not make me bitter that just means that what he done was unforgivable end of I think as long as you have closure; that is the important thing. It wasn't easy for me to forgive an abuser that was an alcoholic but I did. However; I would never take him back. I think that he was the last straw for me as I had a long string of bad relationships and decided it just wasn't worth putting myself out there. Some say I am bitter, so be it but at least I am not dating and making someone's life miserable which I found a lot of people tend to do. |
