My kids love it when I make brown sugar bacon...I only make it once a year for Christmas to make it special...Take thick slice bacon,not thin(thin burns),spread a thin film or brown sugar across the top and botton and lightly pepper it, and put it on a rack in a 9x13 pan to catch the drippings and so it will crisp up..bake till done...It is such a big hit in my family I have to do several lbs. of it!

What temp do you bake it at?

usually around 350 till done.....remember to use thick bacon slices,the thin will burn up ...

Have you tried it with maple syrup?

Where did you find the rack? I have found cooling racks but nothing I would consider oven safe at 350.
