my parents who are paying my bills til i get a job tells me going to college isnt important right now
but my grandparents want me to go to college i feel like im in a freakin tug of war game and nobodys listening to me they each tell me what the want me to go to school for but have never asked me!  im at the end of my rope!help what can i say to make them listen to me abd stop trying to control my life

In the end it is your desision what to do...
Let them know you are looking at both sides of the situation and will decide in time what you want to do...

Do what you want........and if that means paying for your own college then do it!!! If you don't want to thats fine too but if ya wanna make the big bucks, they don't pay well at mcdonalds!!!!

my mom wants me to be a manager my grandmother wants me to go into the medical field
i cant get a word in edge wise cuz after either of them are done talking thier ears are closed i cant make one happy with out aggrivating the other then i get *****ed at twice as much

Ok then how about this you Major in say Computer Technology iwth a Minor In Business Mangement..........then you make everyone happy.......you have your wish to work with computers, your grandparents are happy that your going to college.......and you can show your parents that you will go far in mangement by having a degree in it.........

What you should do with family and school I can't say but I can promise it will work its way out.
But what I can suggest is that you get a new dog, cause damn girl, that dog needs help. |

anyway.my grandparents told my parents i needed a car so my parents let me pick out a new truck and my grandparents didnt like the fact i got a truck instead of a car.. my family is crazy.help me

its sometimes hard for the older generation to adjust to new technology.........and just think she could be like Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies, then you wouldn't have a computer it would of been shot.......and put in the kettle for cooking.................

they city folk so im not all to worried about things getting shot its more her driving granny makes everyone car sick and she freaked out b.c she couldnt find a pen and she was missing one fork
