Topic: October horror movie list | |
---|---|
In the holiday spirit I usually watch at least one horror film a day. List your pre-halloween frightfest here. These are a few I've enjoyed lately.
Bad Dreams Brainscan Nightbreed Feast (all 3) Child's Play series (the latest installment Curse of Chucky was pretty badass) V/H/S 1& 2 (extremely creepy) Sinister Piranha remake & Piranha DD (good campy fun) Evil Dead remake (yes...I watch remakes & I'm not a snob about it haha) Clownhouse Nature of the Beast Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 Night of the Demons (original & remake) Leprechaun (lol) Scream 1-4 Gutterballs (KILLER over-the-top Canadian slasher) I'm sure there's more but...yeah...haha. |

It's horror year around for me, in October I try to watch Halloween themed/ Fall themed films, or films that feel like they have that spirit.
Some of these include: Trick R Treat Halloween 1-5 Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein Abbott & Costello Meet The Killer, Boris Karloff Hold That Ghost (Abbott & Costello) The Ghost Breakers (Bob Hope) The Ghost And Mr Chicken (Don Knotts) Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things Hell Night Witch's Night Screams Of A Winter Night (Feels more like Fall than Winter) Night Of The Demons (1988) Kenny And Company (Directed by Don Coscarelli, director of Phantasm. Set the week of Halloween.) The Forgotten One (1989) Creepshow Clownhouse The Hazing (2004) The Child (1977) Trick Or Treats (1982) Haunted-ween Halloween Night (1988) Satan's Little Helper |

Nice picks. I always make a point to watch the original Halloween & Texas Chainsaw Massacre (two of the best horror films that defined the genre for my generation imo).
Sometimes I'll even throw on some E.T. for the Halloween theme haha. |
