Are you sure you mean 'friends'? I don't think it's so hard to find friends on here. However, I have found it difficult finding a guy to date. I've met three from here, for a long-term relationship, but that isn't a lot anyway. I just figure I'd be better off being a free spirit, instead of wanting the whole shebang. I opted for an fwb, because it just puts less pressure on him and me. I just want a light-hearted, no pressure thing. Yet again, i had a younger guy message me a few days ago. He gave me his e-mail, so I'm just taking it slowly. It's all about what you want.

Just curious. I hear U wanting to take things "SLOWLY", on a dating site! but what U think is slowly might be just another Rejection 2 a guy. How long actually is slowly? I often get he same thing. Its really sad to see you girls always approaching the wrong guys and end up getting pissed at us all. You don't even give us(the genuine ones) a chance to prove our worth.

It's not that hard to find friends on here, if you mean people that are just going to exchange emails with you or talk to you on the forums.

Finding an actual date isn't so easy because there simply aren't that many local people on this site.

People here say how great the forums are and that's how you meet people but I think that's a load of crap. I've met women from this site but none of them were from the forums. The closest I've got to meeting anyone from the forums has been women talking to me for a while and then stopping replying. It happened again recently actually. Then I read some posts of hers that may have been about me. Screw the forums. It's just a gossip mill and even when you keep your conversations private you still end up reading unfair, or hurtful things about yourself, even if they don't name you.

I think the forums/gamesare a fun way to learn about others and chat when you are unable to get out. I have met some great people that would be nice to meet in person, but most are way too far away. All I can say is patience. If you do not meet anyone to date at least you made some online friends. Don't give up on dating people in the "real" world also. Keep your options open.
