No, it doesn't make you a bad person. I most certainly don't want to go out with someone who couldn't accept my kid, because that would mean they wouldn't love him if it came to that. Better to be honest upfront about what works for you than to cause everyone a whole lot of pain down the road.

I admit to having a bias on this subject, but I believe everyone has the right to set their own standards, to decide what's right and wrong for them individually.

I may not understand or agree with certain limtations people have (i.e., I saw a profile where a girl wrote "Don't contact me unless you are 21-23 years old" -- strikes me as unnecessarily restricted, but she certainly has the right to adhere to that) -- but I would hope they could be as tolerant of mine as I am of theirs.

Well, I don't have kids and would prefer not to, my instinct is to find men who DON'T have kids ( or their kids are adults)

No, that doesn't make someone a bad person; everybody is entitled to their prefernce/priority.

i dont mind kids in a relationship but after my last experience i dont want to date a girl with a child again for awhile. my x fiancee let me get attached to har 13 month old son and i started to love that kid like he was my own then she sends me a text breaking it off but kids shouldnt matter in a relationship thats just one more person to love and spoil in my opinion

as long as they don't have 12 of them, it shouldn't matter

Everone has there own preference in what they are looking for.
I don't see it making you anything by not wanting to be with someone that has a child. For me though, it's something I enjoy and if I passed up the one i'm with now because of her 5 year old. I would of lost out big time. I say keep looking for what your looking for and in time you will find it.

Yes kids change things because then your not as free to come & go as you like.
The older you get thou you have to realize everybody has a past & children are a normal part of most peoples lives..
Granted when your around other peoples kids you will notice the differnt way their raised (good or bad)
Even family for that matter!!
