How about a 6 pack and time for him. Dads don't want much just the time of day from his too busy kids. Drop by and spent the evening with dad and mom playing board gaomes or watching a ball game or something he likes to do. Doesn't cost anything but your time.

My Dad turned 70 monday. I got a gift bag that has a Harley stuck on it..
3 differnt picture frames,(1 single for their 50th anvers.that's the 31st, the of 2 have a few of us & older pics of his family)
Then a bunch of snack stuff, some choc.
He has a big thing about cards..so got a couple...
My daughter's is a boring loving one then she wrote
"Now about that new horse!"
& we wrote out I.O.U.s 2 @ for Taco dinner, scetti, breakfast..

OMG! for their anvers. they got a ton of gift cards..
