A Simple Hello

seems so simple but is really so much more
because with hello he never know whats in store
will she look at him like he is freakin mad
or will she give that look that makes him feel bad
the amount of courage it takes just to speak
can make even the strongest man feel weak
he works so hard to just say one little word
and she looks away like he wasnt even heard
like it would kill her just to say hi
standing there wondering why he even tries
maybe its easier to just stay at home
but then again he is tired of being alone
so with each hello he just gets rejected
what used to be an ego is really affected
he feels like its not worth all this strife
just to find someone to share in his life
and that is why he ends up online dating
and sees all those women who are there waiting
so he leaves a simple email to just say hi
and it goes unanswered and he wonders why
and soon he will realize online is the same
one look at him and they think he is lame
so he gives up and lives life in pain and sorrow
with no hope for a future or even for tomorrow

so let this be a warning if someone says hi to you
say it back it wont kill you its a nice thing to do
