So, no, I didn't tell YOU anything.

I also did a recent reading on this Syria situation. So far, it seems to be unfolding according to my reading.

The first position represents influence and causation. It is that which moves the event forward. The Sun is in the first position.. It deals with leadership and with being in the center of attention. This card represents Syria, which will be the center of attention and all over the media. But Syria itself is not the underlying issue. It is the means to an end.

The underlying issue is represented in position number two. That position is generally called �The situation� but in this case it represents the objective of the players in the situation. The card in this position is the Queen of Pentacles reversed. Pentacles represents the material things of this earth. The objective of the players is to seek practical and tangible solutions for a complex business plan or strategy, along with a publicity campaign that can be implemented effectively. Because the queen is reversed, the plan will be weak and meet with problems and strong opposition. The publicity campaign (or propaganda) will not be believed.

The third position is designated �What you may or may not know� but the card at this position is the Tower which usually represents an event or violent upheaval. Because of the position it is in, I feel that it represents a break down in the strategic plan currently in progress which was represented by the reversed Queen of Pentacles. This makes sense also, because the reversed Queen�s plan is weak and has problems. The tower clearly shows this plan falling apart.

The fourth position is �advice� or additional information. The card in this position is the two of wands reversed. Being reversed it clearly indicates that a partnership or collaboration involved in this matter deteriorates.

The fifth position is the outcome. I was a bit puzzled by the appearance of the Dark magician in this spot, as this does not look like your normal run of the mill outcome card. The Dark magician is the wounded one who has been betrayed. He is a very dangerous player because he lurks in hiding, seething with anger, paranoia, depression and fear searching for weaknesses to exploit. The outcry from this betrayed collaborator is not heard because they must remain hidden. Note in this reading, the terms �player� and �collaborator� represent a group or faction rather than an individual person. This player is often suicidal and cares nothing about who dies with him.

With the Dark Magician as the outcome I have to conclude that this Syrian plan does not work out as hoped for the players involved and that the collaborators have been divided or have purposely separated. I would like to say that it looks like the worst of the bunch have been defeated for now, but we may never know who they are as they remain hidden.

The advice to the players (and to anyone else paying attention or watching the game), is to take mental notes of situations and events that stand out as being odd or strange. It is the beginning of a new game. Now may not be the best time to trust every stranger you meet, or play host to so-called friends. The enemy that lurks within the system is still here and may be a pretender.

I drew another final card for further clarification on the outcome, and it was the ace of wands. This represents a new creative beginning. A new game is afoot.

Third and fourth card in the reading has manifested:

The third position: THE TOWER is a break down in the strategic plan to attack Syria...(which was represented by the reversed Queen of Pentacles.) This makes sense also, because the reversed Queen�s plan is weak and has problems.

The tower clearly shows this plan falling apart. The situation is clearly falling apart from lack of support.

The fourth position turns out to be additional information. The card in this position is the two of wands reversed. Being reversed it clearly indicates that a partnership or collaboration involved in this matter deteriorates.

This could be France flipping on supporting an attack on Syria, or France flipping could just be a continuation of the plan falling apart... there may be yet a more devious betrayal afoot...

If this is not the deteriorating collaboration or partnership, then there is still a more significant one to come which will leave a seething angry faction.

I am comparing my reading of August 28th with what is actually now happening.
