Their friends number will go down, so they might notice, but as far as i know there is no alert that pops up or anything.

While we are asking, how do you delete or start over on the mutual matches???

If you delete a friend, there is a reason for it. Apparently they aren't a friend at all. So it doesn't matter how they feel if you delete them, its how you feel. Simple as that. Hope this helps. G

philosopher! They don't get an alert, but their number of friends goes down.
