The irony...people are griping about truly tame stuff like Miley Cyrus no longer being a Disney prepubescent..and actually being offended.

Like that kid was never supposed to grow up.

I was raised a few decades before...

"Turning Japanese" "masturbation...

Judas Priest...."Ram it down"

....and all of the Black Sabbath tunes.

What kills me is people griping about really tame stuff they accidentally saw a few days ago...instead of focusing on things that scarred me bad years ago....

Today's music is nothing more than pop stars cashing in on the fact that sex sells.

My only problem with it....is today's nasty music is just too weak to compete with even lame 80's crap like Ad/Dc' s "big balls".

I have actually eaten enchiladas in La Grange...they had a sign saying "ZZTOPS favorite enchiladas "...to me it was King Ranch chicken enchiladas....they rawwked.

The whole..."for unlawful carnal knowledge "...was a nice way to say f.u.c.k. on an album cover...but Van Halen was as mainstream as a super group ever was...they were as dirty as Fleetwood Mac.

VH stayed true to rock n roll...they were usually a little more aminstream which is why carnal knowledge kinda pushed it for them....but even before that they had songs about blue balls (finsh what ya started) and paying for it (Christ I'll pay ya for it....no nono leave 'em on)....so they had always had an edgy aspect as far as appreciation for openess in sexuality. But alotta their songs were downright huggable like Love Walks In and Why Can;t This Be Love.
