O.K., This is a true story that only parents of a wise ass kid can appreciate...

My oldest son was away visiting with my brother and my little guy asked me if he could sleep in my bed because he was lonely without his brother.Of course I said yes.
So, We're in my bed watching T.V. and I suddenly tell him, " Quick! Get under the covers and count to ten!!"
He gets under the covers and starts counting, " 1, 2, 3.."
That's when I farted...
The kid keeps counting!!
I told him to get out of there and he starts telling me how gross that was and how disgusting I am.
I said, " Well it's O.K. for you to sit on my head and fart or stick your butt in my face and fart every time I lay on the couch!!"
He smiles and looks afar, As if some wisdom has occured to him.
"yeah," he says, " Good times."


My little guy is 5.







I won't get any single father of the year award for this story, huh?

Starts kindergarten next week. I'm losing my little riding buddy.

Just talked to mine, final pack before the big flight to Iraq.
Mama's pregnant, all goes OK, she will deliver in March.
He's due home in May.
We will talk once more tomorrow before he boards the bird.
