Why do I see it as a typical American thing, this must have weapons, need weapons?
Here in Europe you are not entitled to wear a gun, and we are all still alive. I think everyone who's hellbent on carrying a gun has a self esteem problem

I am licensed to carry concealed, I only carry when I am going where there might be a need. Only needed it once, if I hadn't had, I would be dead.

A gun is a tool just like a hammer, need to control the sales to unskilled users.

I see this as a vicious circle, the thugs are armed, so you have to be armed. And because you are armed now, the thugs have to upgrade. And because the thugs upgrade, you have to......
I'm rather not armed, that wouldn't give anybody a reason to wear a gun.

the thing is that for some reason our country can't stop criminals from getting weapons. i would never carry a gun personally but i wouldn't take away a citizens right to carry either.

Unfortunately some of the "citizens" out there have mental health issues and should NOT own a gun!! There should be stricter laws!!

They have tests you have to take in most states!!!

theres already over 20,000 Gun Laws on the books. (every one of them being unconstitutional) The problem has nothing to do with more or less laws, its about criminals, who, by definition, dont follow the laws anyway. making still more laws dont change anything for a criminal except to raise the prices of illegal Guns, WHICH MAKES MORE BUSINESS FOR THEM. Besides, do you really think someone is gonna commit a crime with a firearm registered in thier name? Illegal guns are available everywhere and are a hell of a lot cheaper than going to a Gun shop, and thers no paperwork. RESTRICTIVE Gun laws can only benifit criminals. they inhibit only the honest citizen. whats so hard about this math?

do we all have veins hanging out of our teeth? i for one am damn tired of shooters being painted as nuts. do you know that in the shooting sports, there hasent been a death at a match in 130 years. what other sport can match that safety record?
as for being a mindless thing, try shooting 1000 yd bench rest sometime. oh dont forget to brush up on your math skills first. the calculations alone needed for shooting at that range would be way beyond most peoples capability.

my bench rest rifle costs as much as a new car by the way. FYI. pLEASE REMOVE THIS MYTH OF SOME DRUNK REDNECK SHOOTING AT NEIGHBORHOOD CATS from your head right now. it just aint accurate.

Hell i go throught more ammo then anybody i know!!
I spend thousands of dollars a year on shooting!
Its fun its an outdoor thing to do and it brings people together.

1 scared of guns because of a bad experience or just never been around them!

2Just have been told all there life that(GUNS ARE BAD)and only bad people have them.

Haha!!Most people who have never shot a gun find that when they love it and end up go buying there own!
So for thoses people who have never shot a gun or havent been around them take some time and go to a shooting range and try it!!!You just mite find you like it!!
And see that its not the gun that makes you scared its the f!cked up people that have them.
