I have always heard this sort of 'OLD PROVERB' which says: "The way to a man's heart is through his belly." Can anyone make this clearer or just comment?

I guess if the man is really into food and the woman is a good
cook- that may be all he needs...(ya right) The way to a womans heart... comunication and compassion. Confuseshush say... "Don't listen to old proverbs...Make new ones!!!"
