Im allowed to post my views in our public forums just like you. If you think Im crossing over a line in doing so, thats your problem. You seem to have gone off on tangents that I made no reference to and are trying to make me the author of something Im not. Thats your thing. I havent called you sweetheart, or baby, or anything condescending. Thats also on you.

You touched me and I responded.

There is NO "touching" here, thank goodness!

"90 percent of the time, sex is the doorway to a woman's heart"

I would love to know where your statistic came from!
Is it your personal opinion?
Is it a survey you conducted on your own?
Is there a national survey with details of the clinical group studied?
Inquiring minds would like to know!

I don't agree that this thread is in poor taste or with this militant feminist notion of a "rape culture" but I also disagree with the comments above about sight. I am visually impaired and what a woman looks like isn't actually that important to me. It's hard for me to make eye contact I'm afraid ladies, so sorry if I don't give much of a damn about your smile or the "windows to your soul" but I am interested in body shapes.

Personality is very important to me and I would take someone that I liked as a person anyday over someone that I didn't, no matter how hot she was. If I'm considering someone as girlfriend material though I do want to know how big her bust and butt is and if I'm getting on well enough with her and I don't think that she's going to take it amiss I'll just ask what size bra she wears.

Hmmm Just curious, do these women ask you your butt and penis size?

No but they tell me that I've got a nice arse and I don't have a small penis. Hope that satisfies your curiosity Betty.

Are people who don't want to be raped militant feminists? Acknowledging a rape culture is not a militant feminist notion. Its a basis for safety if you're a woman. Feminists refer to it because it is a part of a woman's place in the world, which is what they try to describe. Feminists refer to rape in general for the same reason. Is rape a militant feminist notion? Are all feminists militant? Not sure what that remark was about.

"Rape culture" is a term that militant feminists use when they want to talk about male oppression and to say that the culture objectifies women and portrays them as either mere sex objects to be used, or victims. I don't agree with the notion and even if you see it as all being about violation and rape it isn't and it is an emotive term and buzz word that I object to. You, as a woman, may see and fear potential rapists everywhere but rape is not part of western culture anymore than peadophelia or bestiality is. Nobody talks about a "theft culture", or a "murder culture", and the majority of men do not commit these crimes or condone them.

It's rather disingenuous of you to say that some thing that actually happens in every culture characterises this one and there is no "rape culture" but only rapists.

That makes no sense. there is no 'theft culture' because we dont support those who commit theft or blame the victims of theft. We catch them and put them in jail. The same for 'murder culture', which would also make no sense. You clearly have no idea what 'rape culture' even means.

I think that I do and sex offenders are caught and put in jail. I can't speak for whatever planet that you are on though.

Interestingly enough, there was a story on the news today about this. A lawyer for the CPS said something about how a young girl was provocative and "egged on" a peado and although the judge agreed, he said that it was no excuse under the law. The CPS made a public statement about what the lawyer said and repudiated his statement. The prime minister agreed and said that we should always focus upon the victims of crime and not in the way that you mean.

If a man is accused of rape he isn't allowed to challenge his accuser and there is a presumption of guilt. It's quite a unique crime in that way and "rapists" can be convicted upon very little evidence. It's one person's word against another's in the majority of cases but they still get sent down. It is a crime that is universally condemned by everyone apart from criminals and even the majority of criminals hate sex offenders so much that they have to be segregated from other prisoners.

In this country, college fraternities march around chanting "No means yes, yes means anal"

Rape rates have not changed in 20 years on campuses. Campus policy can be openly hostile toward victims.

Few men are rapists, but those who are, do so frequently. They admit to having sex by force, or while she's unconscious, but will not admit that this is rape. Only 3% of rapists go to jail.

Recent news revealed the 'boys will be boys' attitude while onlookers watched a rape occur, and didnt report it. It was even filmed and posted online. When the perps were convicted the media presented the story with sympathy for them.

2-8% of rape charges leave room for fabricated stories, but people believe 50% of the victims are lying.

Politicians even suggest there are 'legitimate' rapes, and in these instances, the female body cannot get pregnant. 32,000 women get pregnant from rape in the USA each year.

What planet am I on? Is that all you can think of?

KIc. I'm not disputing anything you've said here flowerforyou

But why must a supposed beautiful thread like "a woman's body" get drawn into one of the deepest pits of humanity again? I'd rather celebrate the beauty of a womans body... but that's just me. This thread should not be a platform for Social awareness in criminality.

THAT! is offensive... not my GIF!

well having someone come on here and say there is no rape culture in the US is beyond offensive. It will always cause some tension between the genders and the more that men refuse to openly condemn the rape culture the longer the diconcordance will persist. no, of course no one wants to talk about it....and yes, we appreciate that you love a woman's body

but men - all men - need to understand that it IS our body and no means no. always. no exceptions. no gray area. if you are in doubt, stop. if you know that she is in doubt stop. if she is barely concious due to drink/drugs, stop. the courts will not uphold consent under those circumstances - established in the cleveland Ohio trial that klc was referred to

I wil go so far as to say that the age limit needs to be lowered for a man to be tried as an adult in a rape situation to 16...those boys in cleveland got off with a hand slap....and so far no one has been prosecuted as an accessory for not reporting the crime / not helping the victim....shameful

I will never watch another football game

Amazing these responses. Doesn't anyone here first look at her eyes (windows to her soul), her smile, and her general appearance? I do and think most of us guys do actually...

If you like what you see then you sure hope booty, boobs and a great body are part of the package too.

Cause who cares about the latter if she has mean eyes, no sense of humour and the appearance of an outdated cartoon character?
Right right, nice underwear.laugh It highlights your eyes and smile.

It's not bad manners. I said that I only do that if I think that they won't take it amiss and I don't date snooty women.

I'll give you an example. I met a girl recently. She told me that she had big boobs. She also talked about her weight and told me what dress size that she wears. I replied that I only really know bra sizes. Didn't say anything to offend her at all, so please get off your moral high horse with me lady.

The example YOU are putting out NOW is fine, but what you said before is if you are considering her for a girlfriend you do want to know her bra size and how big her butt is.
No high horse here was just asking you a question...but really your opinion of me has no importance what so ever.
