How long does it take a broken heart to heal?

Someone once told me its the heart that wants to get over it but its your body that has to learn to adjust...i dont know how true that is but i feel it depends on the person you are and how you deal with things.some people hurt for years and some get over things so easily.its a sad reality

as long as it takes....mines still broken, but life goes on. can't just sit in one spot for too long, gotta keep moving.

I'm going through that myself. All I can say, based on my own personal past experience is, each heart heals in its own way and in its own time. I've found being with each feeling as it comes up, staying busy, having people around to spend time with and talk to, and telling myself repeatedly that I am alive and will survive have all been beneficial for me.

I think broken heart between girl and boy can be healed only by kissing or smooching each other daily.This will work really.Go to club,find some space and get ready to touch each other continuosly.

You don't just love someone one minute and not the next. Time heals all or you learn to live without them. Just remember you can love again and there is more than one person who is right for you!

The biggest problem is being rejected by the one you love most. Ever thought you found your soul mate?? I did. I ****ed up real bad. But I still love her and I always will. She gave me 2 beautiful children and now life seems so empty without them around me. All I have left to say is...,****!!!!!!

Honestly, the first time my heart was broken I was devastated. Over the years as I aged; it hardly phases me. My last break up; I hardly shed a tear as it seems to be a common occurrence with my bad luck. Perhaps what they say is true, "what doesn't kill you; makes you stronger."
