Interrogation

So many questions!
Under the bright light
I cannot make out the face
I am bound to tell the answer

So many questions!
What should I do?
Who should I do it with?
Faceless wants my confession!

I am squirming in my chair
The coffee in the paper cup is cold
The yellow pad of paper, needing a signature
I have to pee

Faceless demands results!
"I don't remember!" I say
I squirm more, the chair is hard
I still have to pee

Faceless slams a palm down!
On the metal table
I jump and squint up at a halo
Around a shadow

"What do you want me to say!"
I yell, stretching up towards the light
Silence
I confess everything
