And now it looks actually worse, because it looks like all my sides

No it doesn't. It looks a million times better. JMO.

I had to go to Photobucket to delete it but it was still showing up in the post, which was no longer editable.

It even continued to show up when I refreshed the page. Very odd. I was beginning to suspect Photobucket of keeping copies of my photos on their server.

So I closed my browser and reopened it and it was gone.

If you can still see it, it is probably in your computers cache of the page.

In my opinion..., taking someone's photo with a camera without asking, is an invasion of privacy... I feel the same about someone manipulating someone else's property, without asking.. I know the intention may have been good, which is why I said what I did.., but to me, it looked worse.. It's removed now, so all is good..

Just me... It would be a boring world if we were all the same.. Everyone has their own opinions..

No problem. I've had fun manipulating mingler's photos on here a lot and never got any complaints.

You were complaining about your photo saying you couldn't get it lighter so I thought I would try. I use paintshop pro 7. Its great and easy to use.

Well... It would be a boring world, if we were all exactly the same, wouldn't it..?

I have photoshop.. Just haven't installed it on this computer, yet.. I only use one photo of myself.. The rest are some of my artwork..

PS: Wasn't complaining.. Just responding to what you were saying... (making convo.)

I have been briefly in and out of dating forums over the past ten years.., as I do not go to bars, etc.. Over this time, I have had communication with many women in these sites.. and about 80% of the time (before we get past emails/ phone calls and about to set up a meeting/date).. I have heard the same "final minute confessions"..:

- My pic is not as recent as I said it was.. (sometimes as much as 15 years old)

- My relationship status isn't exactly as I said it was... (married/just separated/etc.)

- I do have children, but I didn't want to bring it up.. (some with 5-6)

- etc/etc/etc..

Therefore..., I have dated very few times, during these years.., because I won't begin a relationship founded on lies..

..And I am pretty sure, from what the platonic ladies in my life have told me, that it happens with men, too.., so this isn't a thread just directed at women..

Why lie..?

You eventually have to meet this person at some future point.., so why start off lying about who you really are..? I'm sure many people get stood up, because they have someone looking for a younger person..

If you aren't confident enough about who you are and what you want in life, by the time you reach 50.., maybe a dating site isn't the best place to begin spending your free time..?

Just a thought... and yours are all welcome, too..

You mean people actually put up untruthful photos and such. Oh no, tell me it isn't true!

I also wonder if the attached people who say they are "just looking for friends".. and "activity partners".. tell their present partner that they are on here doing this..?

(this is not directed at anyone who has responded here.. Just some profiles I saw yesterday)

And what's with these people who say they are "spiritual".., yet get all mad at me and start insults, when I tell them they are too far away and/or that I don't have a mutual interest (politely)..?

There should be a maturity test for these sites..

Why would you assume they have a "present partner?"

.......Why would you assume they have a "present partner?"

I'm not assuming anything..., Jeannie..

I saw five profiles yesterday with "married" as their status...:

- one was looking for "only black men, with size" (while dressed in lingerie)..

- another two were looking for activity partners, but said they were "discreet.. looking for the same"..

- the last two were looking for "friends" (young men only)... also in lingerie..

What would you take from this..?

Some interesting reads here. My photo maybe an old one because I could not figure how to update a newer one.
The greatest gift we can give to another is truth. It is a shame that some peopke distort reality with fantasy.
I may sonetimes be blunt and it may be the Jesuut in me but black and white or right or wrong.
over the years, I have met some wonderful "real" people on line. I have also met those who pretend.
I met and married someone ai met online,,, I went off line. We had 14 years together and I was happy. He is considered dad by my children and grandpa by my grandchildren. I hope he stays in their life.
I am posting this for the game players out there who may not realise the pain and harm their pseduo fantasy life can cause.
I am not ready for a "serious" relationship but a friendship.
I cannot talk or think yet about tomorrow but remember to THINK before you post:
True
Helpful
Important/Informative
Necessary and
Kind.
I know TMI but still very wounded at the moment.
I hope that each of you looking for a special love one finds that person.

I met a lady online and her pic was showing that she was like 5'5" 130lbs. okay. I drove like 2hrs to get me some smiling. She was like 5'3" 300lbs.For real.Funny thing is that I do kinda like big girls because I'm like 6'3" 190 lbs. She was good looking too. She ask me why no sexin on my part.
I was like if you lie about this you wil surely lie about that.
We still friends to this day but people that lie scare the hella out of me.I have to be honest.I can only share my real good loving skills with a very honest open hearted sugar-tail thats honest just lie me.
