Were is everyone
i look and listen to the empty silence
not a soud falls as paper lays were it fell
shades of activity now lifeless
were now the laughter of children
the cars chasing rush hour
all lights now on green yet nothing here
how long did i sleep
were all the souls harvested but my own
was i left too face this nightmare and why me
the silence is now defening
i would give my soul now to hear anothers voice
or the screach of brakes again
so many times i wished to be alone
sitting quiet at my own choosing
yelling out to the echo of my own voice
i wake in a cold sweat
but wiser for knowing im not alone
only in my dreams
were now i seek my rest from
