They work for us.....right? Washington. In case readers missed it with all the coverage of the Trayvon Martin murder trial and the Supreme Court's rulings on gay marriage and the Voting Rights Act, the US Supreme Court also made a ruling on lawsuits against drug companies for fraud, mislabeling, side effects and accidental death. From now on, 80 percent of all drugs are exempt from legal liability. http://www.sott.net/article/263713-Supreme-Court-rules-drug-companies-exempt-from-lawsuits |

Has our government gone insane? Of course I didn't hear about this on the news, maybe it was a 10 second news segment somewhere. Like usual, i'm disgusted. These drug companies have to be held accountable, not the exact opposite.
Thanks for posting the news. |

Interesting,FDA now basically has the last word on Drug-Safety!
In other words, if the FDA says something is safe, it doesn’t matter if that decision is wrong or the result of lies, fraud or deception on the part of the world’s pharmaceutical companies. And there’s no way to sue the FDA for being wrong and costing millions of unsuspecting Americans their lives. That result leaves 240 million Americans unprotected from an industry responsible for more preventable deaths in the US than any other cause.
http://politicalblindspot.org/supreme-court-rules-drug-companies-exempt-from-lawsuits/ one has to start wondering on whose side SCOTUS is really on! |

The caption for that picture was "New robes for SCOTUS". The story was something about transparency and making their robes bear the logos of their sponsors....like race car drivers. You'll notice that 5 of the 9 are heavily laden with logos..... |
