I may have crushed easy when I was in grade 6- 10, that would have been with my female friends, but they were hard to not fall for, they were so nice to look at and so fun to be around. and no I didn't enjoy the crush when they didn't chrush back who says stuff like you! nobody thats who but there was times when most all of then liked you one week or another (the flavor of the week) I was usually last weeks news by the time I would get up the nerve my last girlfriend was an instant mutual crush, we just locked eyes as we were introduced and I said to myself "I want one of those" she gave me three hugs when I was leaving and she was emotional, awkward! as it was in front of her boyfriend a year later we got together.

Another blockbuster 1cynderella thread a crush that doesn't lead anywhere is a bummer IMO. I try and taper my expectations... But when I do take a leap and get smacked back by reality, It lingers a bit in the head so I'm less likely to take that leap on a crush. Ditto!

I am bad for crushing on someone and NEVER saying a word to a soul about it and just let weeks, months , or even years go by alone. Maybe it was conditioning having had some long distance relationships and being a military wife, even being a family caregiver (which makes a personal life nearly impossible when care needs become acute), but now I think it is just finding the idea of giving up my freedom factors in. LOL the fantasy of a crush from afar is so much easier than making a relationship work.

I have a friend who can crush on a guy within 5 minutes of seeing him. She likes the way he looks, then waits for a look from him. If the look he gives her expresses the faintest hint of interest in her physical appearance...CRUSH! Now I can appreciate a nice looking man as much as the next gal, but I just can't see getting a blush on before I know he's actually worth the time I'd spend thinking about him. So, while crushes come less often for me, they are well worth it when I do....even though he never crushes back. Do you crush easy or wait and see? Do you still enjoy the crush while it lasts even if they don't crush back? ya those crushes - the kind u are describing - usually last from 15 minutes to an hour or so, but I defo still get them :)
