VANCOUVER -- You may have heard of the movie "Naked Lunch," but police say it was a naked dinner that led to a man's arrest in Vancouver.

Police say a homeowner walked into his east Vancouver residence on Tuesday night to find a naked man making himself some eggs.

The intruder took off when the homeowner confronted him, but he was arrested a short distance away.

'He was cooking eggs,' Const. Brian Montague, of the Vancouver police, tells the media on July 3, 2013. (CTV BC)
Police believe the suspect was in the house for about 25 minutes and even had a shower before making his way into the kitchen.

Police say the incident should serve as a warning for homeonwers to lock their doors and windows, especially with the recent warm weather.

A 30-year-old Burnaby man is expected to be charged with being unlawfully in a home.

Hmmmmm. Cooking, washing himself, getting naked. Sounds like he was expecting something good to happen. I suppose it did, because he got handcuffed, but that wasn't the true kind of arrest he was really after ;)

If he had gotten too close to the heat source, then he might have cooked a couple of smaller "eggs". Spanish-speaking people should understand what I mean. laugh

I wouldn't know personally.

However, people unfamiliar with Spanish slang may not know what I was talking about if I were to use the word huevitos.
