Milesoftheusa, you remind me of some Jehovah's witnesses I have met. They seem like (or pretend) to be interested in another person's beliefs and they get people to open up and talk about those beliefs and then they inject their challenges in the form of questions.

Their motives are to show you how you are wrong and they are right. They have no real interest in your faith.

You seem to be very happy with your beliefs, and don't seem to be searching for something different, so I know you are actually not interested in mine. I don't delude myself into thinking that anyone actually wants to learn about what I currently believe, and I do not have a cult to promote, nor would I want to start one.

you are very perceptive. I want to learn. everyone whatever it might be. discussing stuff brings other things to mind I search out. I/we do not believe we can save anyone. That's not our job. Ours is to live our faith and if u r doing what Yahweh says they will notice u r different and usually this what brings them to ask.. why do you do that or what is it you believe. the internet well we anyone can make very compelling interesting video's all over youtube that are their to try and spark peoples minds. I do not do that. I prefer to let me see me the old way of life.. where u actually see them talk with them, laugh with them. then most people when they find out what you believe even if they really dislike it they will not reject u as a person so that speaks well for our faith also.. I think the OP is alone in his thinking that its a good idea to legislate family size.

My church has pagan circles as well, in many congregations. That's one the the cool things I like about UUism.

What I like about my church is that it's a place where all of the various threads of my own beliefs come together and I can find like minds of all descriptions.
