![]() ![]() ![]() Jeb Bush to give Liberty Medal to Hillary Clinton?! ![]() ![]() This is like Stalin awarding a humanitarian award to Hitler! I guess these awards are measured in blood rather than kindness, discovery or sacrifice these days. Either that or they are only awarded inside that circle of corrupt, warmonging, constitution destroying, arsewipe elites, and it's simply her turn. Maybe they figure they better give it to Killinme Clinton hoping it will help (like it did Obozo) when they put her on the 2016 ballot even though she doesn't deserve it any more than he did his medal. Wonder how many deaths you must be responsible for to earn one of these? Either way, aren't these awards becoming a laughing stock! http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/308269-jeb-bush-to-present-award-to-hillary-clinton#ixzz2XRbEz3Qu |

Jeb Bush to give award to Hillary Clinton
By Emily Goodin - 06/27/13 02:46 PM ET Tweet Jeb Bush will present Hillary Clinton with the 2013 Liberty Medal this fall in Philadelphia. It could be an awkward encounter for the two, both of whom are mentioned as 2016 presidential nominees for their respective parties. Bush, the former Republican governor of Florida, is chairman of the National Constitution Center, which is giving Clinton the award in honor of her career in public service and her advocacy efforts on behalf of women. The former secretary of State is considered the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination in the next presidential election, but has made no political moves since leaving the Obama administration. Instead, she has focused on charity work through The Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Clinton would beat Bush by 7 points, 50 percent to 43, in Bush's home state of Florida, according a Quinnipiac poll released earlier this month. Bush has not ruled out a presidential bid and would be seen as a top-tier candidate if he runs. He praised Clinton on Thursday for her service. “Former Secretary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy,” Bush said in a statement announcing the award. “These efforts as a citizen, an activist, and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this year’s Liberty Medal.” The ceremony takes place Sept. 10 in Philadelphia. It will be the first of two honors for Clinton this fall. On Sept. 30, the Children’s Defense Fund will honor the former senator and former first lady for her children's advocacy work. The ceremony will take place at the Kennedy Center. Clinton is an alumni of the group. "We are pleased to recognize Hillary Rodham Clinton who has been a tireless voice for children and was with the Children’s Defense Fund at the beginning as a young staff attorney, then board member and board chair,” said President Marian Wright Edelman in a statement. ![]() seems they are cloning another POTUS! |
