I will go by profile name 11Tawnie..I'm new to this site and am wondering why, if you list a certain age group to search, you still get much younger guys contacting you?

Anyway, I'm 73, looking for a good friend or two, male or female, to do normal things with ie dinner, movies, shopping, basically just hanging out sometimes.

Howdy & welcome to mingle! you can also set limits on the age group who can send you mail. I'm sure one of the mods will jump in here soon and post the link for you if you can't figure out how to do it. It's in your mail settings. Just beware the scammers...Cheers!

The forums are the best place to talk to people. I've had a few wonderful conversations stemming from posts here.

As Journey said...beware of the scammers. They are thick as flies here. Personally, if there is no pic in their profile or if they haven't taken the time to really write a bio, I decline them all. I also decline almost everyone that claims to be from the US and deployed in the military. Past experience has shown me that these are mostly scammers as well (and scum of the earth in my humble opinion. To use the picture of one of our brave men or women serving in the military for nefarious purposes is just wrong.)
