Me personally ....I think it is all crap.

Parents...upbringing...society...

A good person is a good person because it is an actual decision.

Sure we can blame our failures on moms or dads...or society...or whitey trying to keep us down....

That is total crap.

I notice that I have never seen any thread about responsibility for your own failures.

All of us have loved and lost.

We all have one common denominator ....WE are in our failed relationships.

Ya can only blame so many exes until you become part of the equation.

So...age difference...upbringing ...social status...means nothing.

There comes a point where each of us must stand up and live the life we want.

We are adults.

Blaming everything else but our selves is easy and really convenient ....

It is exactly what a kid would do.

I don;t really see anyone blaming here. fact is our upringing does influence who we become, but it is not a matter of blame rather it is what it is....we can wallow in it with blame, or we learn and grow. have you had blaming issues?

I suppose sometimes we do blame others. if blame did not exist it would not be a word. I agree it solves little or nothing. It also solves nothing to blame ourselves. that is not taking responsibility. that is blame. there is a difference between blaming others or ourselves, and recognizing that it is OK to stand up for ourselves? (just to make sure I am understanding you correctly)

I agree how we choose to be is a concious choice whether or not we realize we have made that choice

happy birhday krupa. nice to hear from you.

Like I said... Make it a good day.

Blame got zero to do with the day all of us will have today honey.

It is what I choose to make it...it is what you choose to make it.

Ps....good to hear from you too Sweetest.

Krupa, I didn't see any mention of blame in this thread before you commented. Why did you automatically go there?
