Spending loads of cash to start an internet business is a myth!!!

There are several ways one can utilize free or low cost resources. Affiliate marketing, article writing, social media and blogging don’t cost a lot of money if any at all and it is very easy to accomplish. Most Internet businesses start off as a part time venture. The trick is how to save money starting your small business. Creating a small internet business on less then 50 dollars a month is very easy to accomplish.

Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Marketing is very easy to accomplish and in most cases, it is free to join. The reason why it’s free is because you are doing all the leg work and generating sales for the company you are promoting. Look for companies that have affiliate marketing programs in the niche you are in. It’s a good idea to have more than one program that promotes a few similar products. Let’s say you wanted to sell flowers online. Having an affiliate program to sell flowers, and one for a company that sells potting soil and another that sells gardening equipment. You get the point, it will make your store front look better and give the customer what they want, which is a choice. The more choices you have the more likely the customer is willing to buy from you and in turn this will generate sales leads. Learning how to save money is important when you first start off. Many of use don’t do this full time and we need to use resources that are free or inexpensive.

Article Writing

Article writing is very important and without information for the shopper to read, they will soon leave your website. The way I look at writing articles is like this: write to inform or to solve problems. Every article you write will strengthen your knowledge of the product or service you are trying to sell. It has been my own personal experience that it’s better to write your own, which is another way to save money. Writing your own articles is a great way to gain knowledge along the way. If you use outsourcing, learn how to budget to get the most out of your dollars. Outsourcing is a great time saver, but try to find a writer that can write original articles with good content, this way it’s not a waste of time. There are many sites that outsource article writing at a low cost, such as Fiverr and Iwriter. After a while you will learn how to save money effectively and waste as little as possible.

One thing to consider is people are always looking for an expert in whatever area you are trying to promote. With that being said, it is very important that you educate yourself as being the expert in whatever niche you are in. If for instance a customer sends you an email asking for information and you have none to give, you can bet you just lost a customer. The more articles you can write and link to your site the better. People love reading about why and how a product is the best and it makes your site that much more appealing to the consumer. Customers love knowing how to save money and get the best possible deal they can. Promoting items that are at a discount always attracts customers. This is even true at your local grocery store where let’s say: watermelons are on sale half price. The grocery store actually loses money on items like this, but the sales draw customers into the store to buy other non discounted items. This is true for traditional businesses or an internet business. Customers want to also believe in the company behind the product they buy. It’s a sellers market and the well informed customer wants the best and it’s your job to promote that idea. You have to do more then just post articles on your site. Publish your articles on websites that have a high rank and high traffic, this will generate traffic and strengthen you name as being an expert with the products you are trying to sell. ALWAYS keeps in mind that your articles have to be 100% original and have quality content and be informative at the same time. People tend to shy away from sales driven info and lean towards information.

Social Media

Set up a free Facebook account. This is another way to save money. Facebook is a powerful way of advertising and can be devoted to your product or website. Besides Facebook is easy to use and if you have seen some of my friend’s Facebook profiles, they can be very eye catching as well. You can also advertise on Facebook and the low end is 5 dollars a day to bounce ads in front of Facebook users. Twitter is another Social Media and there are many more which are low or no cost. Setting up a Twitter profile is a great way to advertise your business and is also free to use. Use Twitter to communicate not to advertise your product. Be informative and let the consumer make their own choices. Think about it like this: Don’t try to sell your product, instead sell the information or idea behind the product. These rules are the same for affiliate marketing programs to blogging. If you already have a website, set up a blog there as well. Your blog should be informative and not sales driven. As mentioned before, people tend to shy away from sales driven info and lean towards information. The information that you provide will get you online creditability. Linkedin.com is a site dedicated to like minded professionals that share ideas, all over the world. Linkedin is free and another great way how to save money and get the word out about your website.

Blogging

Blogger.com is a Google product and is free to join. Blogging is another way to how to save money. Setup your profile on whatever Social Media you decide to use. Add a picture of yourself so people can relate the product and or blog to a person. Also ensure that your website contains links to your social channels and that your social channels link back to your website. Blog as many sites as you can, since it’s a free resource. The best way to make this work effectively is to answer a question or solve a problem that a person is asking. Add a few articles about the product you are trying to promote. This way you are giving customers a topic to ask questions about. Answer the questions and or solve problems. Answering customer’s questions will generate potential sales leads.

I hope this information was helpful to who ever reads this article. Save your dollars and learn how to save money.
