Do any of you make little chunks of time into future plans? I have a short range, intermediate range and long range goals. Short range is within 2 years, intermediate up to 5 years and long rang 10 and more years.

Short range -- finish grad school, think about moving

Intermediate range -- get my CPA

Long range -- just live life and a whole buncha other stuff too numerous to name. How about you?

Better bored than dead!

In two years when I graduate I was thinking of moving to Connecticut, New England is supposed to be beautiful. But then it dawned on me, I've got no dayum reason to move! Are you going to relocate?

I still live with my mum and will continue to do so until I'm 21 (she does all my cooking/cleaning so why not) lol plus by then I'll easily be able to financially handle myself seeing as I'll be on a very decent wage for my age

I'm definitely a planner. I've been that way since I was a kid. I got caught, once, at the end of a 5 year plan cycle without a next step. Ack! For my obsessive need to know what comes next, I was a disaster. Now, I have rotating plans, that cycle on a yearly basis. Each year, I have to reevaluate and reallocate. It's like a business plan. I have spreadsheets and contingency plans and everything. :angel: shades

Short-term: be a stay-at-home mom until Feb'14; teach a dance class at a local studio, get fit, rework a musical I wrote; keep purging stuff from my house

Long-term: return to teaching, focus on my dance and playwriting, and being a mom/wife; family is important to me; prepare for doing my masters

Super-long-term: get my masters in dance education; teach teachers how to teach Dance in schools; get a play published; choreograph/ dance professionally; keep being a mom/wife

"If the opportunity arises" plans: become a paleontologist; read tarot cards for a living; be an artist (paint, sew, dance, perform, write); live in France and/or Hawaii;

Oh! And Oldhippie- if you want to move to New England, then just do it. Follow your heart and your dreams. That is what brings magic into our lives.:banana: :banana: flowerforyou

I do not make plans often in fact I find plans stressful and stifling. I do almost everything spur of the moment and will pull away when people start trying to plan my free time (another advantage of being single - no one making plans I have to keep)

even things I routinely "plan " to do I do spur of the moment in the sense that I keep everything open till that last minute..like if I am going away on the weekend I will have this "idea" in my head that I want to go away some weekend soon but I seldom plan it...just some time in the near future I'll come home from work, book a room, pack a bag and i'm gone

Lay low until o-kabama is out of office.

Hope that hillary gets too sick, or bad press to get elected.

Wish that Paul Ryan would get popular.

In the meantime, I'll just deal with things as they come.
