I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5) kjv

The world is increasingly ignorant of and disrespectful to the principles of Scripture. I pray for a revival of interest in the wisdom of God's Word, beginning with those in the church and spreading to every culture on earth.

Belief in God is what made this nation great. The tearing down of Biblical morals is destroying and dividing the country. JMO

Old Testament rules don't control Christians' lives--but God's Spirit should. "Walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the fesh: (2 Corinthians 5:16)

Prayed for this Nation. " One Nation under God, for liberity and justice for All." Seems many are getting away from God.

If there is no God, then everything is permitted, We know that there is a God and he is in Control.
America, the noble experiment, is under siege.

We must not only attempt to restore values, but must deal with the underlying cause of their erosion, or else all is utimately for naught.

The father of our country, George Washington, understood this very well when he stated: " Reason and experience forbid us to expect that national morality can pervail in exclusion of religious principle." He also said: "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."

Our first president knew that the bais of morality is God--specifically, the God of the Bible. Without Him, "national morality" cannot prevail, because there will be no rational foundation for it.

The words of our second President, John Adams, are also profound.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

An appropriate verse in regard to the work Jesus began in you with a promise to carry it our to completion so that all who have believed in him might be transformed into his likeness because in this world we are like him.

However in stating this truth it is not us/ourselves who do anything for God or for the gospel for when the rewards are given they will reply, "when did we..." For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

We may shine like stars in the universe leading one or many to righteousness but this does not happen unless the servant is where he is so that he might draw all men to himself. It is his light that shines. We are but unworthy servants. Called by his Spirit saved by grace, through faith-and this is not of ourselves-but the gift of God. Ephesians 2:4-10

It's ironic that Lincoln, who was a God fearing man, abolished slavery only to have the first Black President deny God publicly when he supported homosexuality and gay marriage

God is still in Control. Whatever takes place in this nation, God allows it to happen for a reason.

What we can do as Christian is Trust God and leave all the consequences to Him. God always knows what he is doing, when we don't.
