to convert to islam and become muslim a person need to pronounce the below testimony.
Say: ash-hadu an la ilah a ill allah( i bear witness that there is no diety but allah)
say: wa ash-hadu ana muhammad-ar-rasullallah(and i bear witness that muhammad is the messenger of allah)
take a shower, symbolically cleaning yourself of your past life(some people prefer to shower before making the declaration of faith above either way iis acceptable.
Learn how to pray and practice islam in your daily life.
Continue to learn,study and grow in your new faith
maintain your existing family relationship to the best of your abality.some may have difficulity accepting your decision, but all time try to keep the door open and be a good example of humility,kindness and patience.
Note: IT WILL BE BETER IF THERE IS ISLAMIC CENTER NEAR TO YOU OR ISLAMIC SCHOLAR SO YOU NEED TO JOIN HIM THEY WILL GUIDE YOU. IF NO SO ASK FROM ME I WILL GUIDE YOU.

The Quran... it's got everything you need to know.. get a translated version... it's a tough religion but has actual logic.. except for the no gay rule -.-.. and extremists might scare you off like most extremists of any religion.. forget them and remember god is merciful.

What verses or parts of the Quran does extremists use to justify killing people the way they do? Just curious

What do they do to gay Muslims when they find out?

Why is it, when Muslims kill off homosexers no one screams homerphobic?

Is it because to do so would be seen as an attempt to interfere with their freedom to practice their religion?

Why don't you travel to the Middle East, pose as a gay Muslim, and find out for yourself?

they used to punish gay muslims back then.. but they don't in our day and age.. unless ur in Saudi Arabia and express your sexuality in public.. they're not exactly representing islam the propper way as i'm sure you've noticed already.. i'm gay and proud in an arab country with the islamic law and still living :p islam's great.. we just happen to have idiots representing us.. what i do in this life is between god and i.. and i don't need or want ppl to tell me the rules at my age and if i'm going to bloody heaven or hell neither.. i could go on and on but i'll stop here.. point is.. u dont like dark chocolate leave it alone.. no point in cursing at it or stepping on it.. hope that made sense :p i dnt care what religion a person follows, i judge them regardless of..

hi if you want to convert i can explain to you in the way that i know so make you decision and i will give you the instruction , don't follow Muslims follow just the religion what's the quran sad and and our prophet muhamed peace be upon him , it's a little tough but you will win the paradise

I do believe videos posted by Dr Zakir Naik on YouTube are really helpful not only to understand Islam but more importantly to compare Islam with all other religions.

as a previous Muslim i ask you to think twice before converting to Islam .....
