I've done LDRs before and I'm not interested in doing it again.
Absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder, it just emphasizes the loneliness. Being in a relationship but still physically being alone sucks. So you have a boyfriend, in my case, but you still spend Saturday nights alone, you still don't have a date to the concert you've been anticipating for months and you still come to an empty house after a long day at work when all you want is someone to hold you for 15 minutes. So, I'm a person on dating websites that isn't interested in a LDR, fortunately I live in a HUGE urban city where there are lots of male options under 100 miles. Good luck to all of us. |

LDR is a dicey thing because it is difficult to know the real person that way.

Patience!
Patience! And patience!! Focus on what you both want, and if you want it to work!! Open all your senses during these communications-then you are tuned into each other! Do what you say you would and when!! Then some more patience, understanding, complete open communication... Then, ROLL THE DIE! |

I agree with You. If I lived in a large urban city, I definately wouldn't be looking for any LDR. |
