Can anybody help me get someone out of my mind? Any tips or techniques would be appreciated. Even the wise guy comments as it might bring a smile to my face. Please, guys and gals? I'm hurting. omgosh had no idea you were really hurting this badly. I got nothing hip....it just goes away eventually and talking to others does help take an aspirin :) I'm better now, thank god I didn't fall in love and just was growing feelings. I had forgotten what it can be like! Ouchies! It will definitely make it harder for someone to get close to me. |

Feelings are like riding a bike, you never forget how to use them, but they can get rusty. You just had a practice run, is all, and maybe you fell off the bike - but you gotta get back up again, oldhippie - practice makes perfect! If you happen to have any more downer moments, I find that a tub of Cookie Dough ice cream and a couple of 80's movies help to create temporary amnesia. My personal favourites for such a treatment are "Top Gun" and "Footloose". Now, being a man, you might prefer different fare, but the principle is still the same - stuff your face and drown your sorrows in entertainment!  Or you could drown your sorrows in booze and watch hockey...either way, the effect is similar. Hope your week continues to improve.

Sorry but I have to take the flip side on this (I'm not a popular guy). I love infatuation even if it didn't go my way. Who cares, you had great feelings that made your heart pound. Does it really matter how it ended? Just being able to have these feelings is one of the greatest parts of being human.
Hope the best for you, hope the best for her, hope the best period. Enjoy it for what it is, and go do it again and again and again.....be happy and be in-love even if your in-love for someone elses love. |
