I'm trying to decide if his statement is more humiliating for Zeta-Jones if she DOES or DOES NOT have this disease herself.  STDs , One week of Tetracycline would cure it providing both partners were treated ..the dose of the throat That's what is being blamed as the Cause of his condition! Yes this is true, at a second look I see it reads virus, so antibiotics wouldn't be afective. Furthermore it should read (infection) as there is no such thing as a sexual throat virus. Gonorrhea can be transferred, more commonly from performing fellatio...so dont you do that  Yeast infection past on may just give you a throat irritation. As for visuses I only think there's three sex related one's, human immuneo-deficiency virus (HIV) Hepatitis: causes liver disease Genital Herpes: that live in your lower spine until an out break which is now said to be transferable to mouth Herpes & vis versa which lives in your upper spine. No getting away!  Now there say a young person can live 50 years with HIV, basically its not a death sentance anymore. all the advanced treatments are avalible to everybody now. Many of the same treatments that were just avalible to the wealthy, such as Erwin (Magic) Johnson, NBA great that contracted the virus in 1991 yes I remember in the mid 80s in high school, not knowing from day to day if nukes were going to come overhead from each side, then Rock Hudson had died from this new killer virus, it seemed so hopeless Some days. We were thinking the next thing thats giong to happen will be, when you stick it in, instead of blowing off, you blow up! Genital human papillomavirus (also called HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI). There are more than 40 types of HPV that can infect the genital areas of males and females. These HPV types can also infect the mouth and throat. You need to read up on STD's. HPV's are viral. There is no antibiotic that will treat an HPV. There are some hopeful Acyclovirs that show promise but not a cure all. Consult with your doctor. They can inform you. I finished a three week program approx 3 months ago & the afternoon of the last day was facilitated by a health care worker (RN )from the STI free clinic. These Nurses specialize in STIs only ,so they would be a lot more informative that your average General Practitioner. I did forget to include genital warts on my last post under the virus list that I was aware of. I also read up on HPVs today after work and they do talk about throat & mouth Warts, which I dont recall this been discussed with our health care provider, perhaps it was said to be extremely rare & we were given some literature as it did soundike that to me. I will phone the 24 hour STIs hot line as I'm isterested to hear what they say. did you find your doctor to be quite informitive? How about you Leigh? I did noitice a couple of discrepancys in the Wright ups, one being, they were saying that herpes can leach through the skin , and one wouldn't have to be in contact with an open sore to contract it..I call BS on that, I do see scare tactics on some things. Its like tuning in to Dr Oz every day to here the 5 things you must know..great for ratings! I was supprised to read about Douglas! Now there saying he's beat the big C? When the news of his cancer first broke it was reported that he was diagnosed as being late in the third stage of the disease, & now he's going to be fine?...so were they lying then or are they lying now? Maybee he'll do what Graham Chapman did from Monty python,' He sold his story to a British tabloid for a huge amount of money, about how he beat the Big C, He got the cheque cashed it and died.. the other graham from the six pack told the story and said this about his friend Dr Graham Chapman, "that a boy Graham! thats how its done.   What a way to go out, scam some greasy bottom feeding tabloid that a boy grahan! Thanx for all the Laughs |

He is a good actor. I seen a couple of his movies, that I really liked. He played "sexy" roles. That is Sad, about the cancer.

Thanx for all the Laughs I am not an authority, but did take some medical training classes a few years back...I am not familiar with this "leaching" phenomenon, but my understanding of herpes simplex 2 is that, even when the virus is not active (displaying blister like sores), it can still be contagious due to a process called shedding....Either way, Alle is right, there is no known cure for Herpes or HPV...Both are viral, so antibiotics would be useless as a treatment...And yes, I believe there are several cases that document having oral sex with an infected partner as the cause for transmitting HPV from genital area to mouth and throat area.... |

There seems to be a little more grey area's in the canadian medical system on the herpes virus as the RN said its because nobody is willing to put there reputation on the line and commit fully to answering some questions, so you will get an unknown answer . So it make me think nobody's answered certain questions. Yes so there would be rare case's of throat herpes, but I just can't see myself using Dental dams to perform cunulingus...it would be like liking an ice cream through a balloon. See watch...  ...very bland..
