in the marine corps when a buddy was getting ready to go on liberty we would suggest he chit, shower, and shave. in civilian terms i guess you could use shower, shampoo, and shine. i guarantee i guarantee that if you clean up a bit for a first date, your date may not want to ditch you after excusing themselves for a bathroom break

What's a good idea for a first date?? My preference is something casual for a first meet. I don't consider first meets (from an online contact) to be a date always...though sometimes it is - depends. I prefer coffe in the city park, or a stroll, maybe with the possibility of continuing the meet or saying polite good byes depending on if I like the person (and vice versa)....I prefer those first few meets pretty casual and not too structured. |

Casual, coffee, lunch all sound good. Public place & for women probly good to have friends close by to keep an eye out for them? I've heard of this being done before & it sounds smart & safe to me.
