Well, the title says it. IMHO if you can make it over 30 years of age and still believe in a magic man in the sky, you should not be running our country. I agree that some people need religion in order to cope with the trials of life, but if you're that weak and need a fairy tail crutch to get through life, then you should not be making the decisions that affect the everyday lives of millions of people.

that was/is found in the communist countries , but unfortunately many of the communist leaders were dictators , that spoiled the reputation of atheists , as others will believe we have no morals and very likely to be dictators if we gained control over governments ... yet many other politicians( mostly define themselves as secular more than to be atheists ) do exist in European and Latin American countries and very respected among their people .

our last prime minister (australia) was an athiest but she let us down
