I'm not long in here. I was on POF, I liked the forums there, but I got blocked from using them, not sure why. Might have been that I wasn't messaging every woman within 5000 miles of me. A few of my friends got the ax too, because that's all they were there for, the forums. I landed here.

I signed up to help a friend find 'the one.' Got her lots of mail. Then I found the forums. I watched and read for a while, too scared to join in, as myself. Used my friend's profile to launch into the forums. Accidentally met true love here. Rest is history :-) Really nice.

Yeah I remember the first post I made. It was about smoking and green as I was I naively posted my thoughts about the harm smoking can do. Needless to say I was chewed up and spit out..it was not pretty: laugh: But I am a tough old Bird and managed to survive the wrath of smokers.

yes, like torgo, i didn't return for a couple of months. when i did, i stayed because of the friendships i made. it was a much different place back then...before disney took it over.

The first time that I showed up here, it was because someone told me that the drinks here were on the house . . . . . . but I couldn't find the stairs to the roof. Thankfully, I was able to get my drink indirectly when a cat fell from the roof.

It was snowing and I opened an email from afriend with the sign up page link to Mingle 2. I looked outside and saw my snow covered car and driveway...within minutes I was on Mingle2.

I though that you were referring to the most-recent snowing in the USA, which was in May. My bad.

I was a correctional officer at the time and in the academy. I was quite lonely and depressed and found this site. Then I met someone from it, and ended up more depressed after being rejected. Come to think of it, I have never had a good experience form this website. I have a kid running around somewhere from a psycho I met who got preggo and disappeared. I cant wait to see what fun adventures await me!
